Canadian Transplant Games

I recently returned from my first ever Canadian Transplant Games. It was an experience I will long remember. The people I met and their stories are simply amazing. Giving the gift of life is truly that - new life! I did win 5 gold medals and a silver medal and was happy with my performance, but the experience spoke louder then the medals. Speaking to donor families and sharing stories about how miracles really can happen.
